Results of Administering HG-II Shinkiko Therapy
The basic aim of HG-II therapy is to maintain the functional balance of the five main organs and six viscera by normalizing the Ki flow in the stomach meridian of the body’s 12 meridians. Physical examinations of patients complaining of lower abdominal pains show many of them suffering from gastroptosis. Western medicine views gastroptosis lightly but oriental medicine considers a prolapsed stomach seriously since it upsets the diaphragm’s open field balance. In serious cases, the stomach prolapses to the pelvic area and affects the colon, urinary bladder and reproductive organs (in females, the uterus and ovary). Gastroptosis also affects the esophagus, producing an unpleasant feeling in the chest area and oppressing the pharynx. In terms of western medicine digestion first takes place in the stomach, and in terms of the autonomic nervous system the stomach is the organ having the greatest influence on the patient’s mental factor.
According to oriental medicine, a prolapsed stomach can be restored to its normal position by applying acupuncture needles to the zusanli acupoint on a patient’s feel. Physical examinations show that the HG-II’s Ki applied to gastroptosis treatment points has the same effect of acupuncture needles applied long-term to the zusanli. Stomach neridian Ki therapy restores abdominal cavity balance and the Ki flow in the five main organs and six viscera. This is turn activates the body’s inherent faculty to heal itself(this also applies to persons not suffering from gastorptosis).
